A Wonder Woman Book I Would Read--It Would Be Pretty Crazy

DC has released some information about their creative teams for a few the upcoming new comics they are launching in September. I found some of them interesting, but the one that most caught my eye was Brian Azzarello writing Wonder Woman. I normally think of Azzarello as more of a crime or Noir writer, so I'd be interested to see his take on Wonder Woman. Hopefully it will go over better than Superman.

What I would love, and which would not ever happen, is he takes some of his old concepts. Like, Wonder Woman stumbles across a suitcase with a gun and 100 untraceable bullets and a list of people who have wronged the Amazons and the comic then becomes about her hunting them down. Or, he could do something out of left-field like make Wonder Woman a private detective in one of the big DC cities and in her spare time she solves mysteries and uses the lasso of truth when shes trying to follow a lead in her cases to make sure informants tell the truth. She could have a special costume for her detective-type work that looks like a weird mixture of old private-dick trench-coat and modern special-ops suit. Oh, and even though he's from Marvel comics throw in the Kingpin, Wilson Fisk, because he's always involved in crime-type stuff. I'd read it.
