Flashback Friday--Rollercoaster Tycoon Deluxe

Rollercoaster Tycoon Deluxe
Let's switch things up for Flashback Friday and look at an old game instead of an old comic book. What game is deserving of this change in trends? The amazing Rollercoaster Tycoon along with its two expansions to make the deluxe version.

Rollercoaster Tycoon is truly a marvelous game. You can build a marvelous theme park with all manner of rides and attractions, stalls, and need to make sure everything runs like a well-greased machine. From hiring handymen and mechanics, to placing benches, or making sure the park layout isn't confusing to guests, this game is all about details. That isn't to say it lacks fun. Designing the perfect roller-coaster and boosting park attendance to win a scenario/level is such a rewarding feeling. This game is just plain fun.
Whether it is a simple park of gentle rides, a roller coaster extravaganza set in a jungle-themed location, or just have fun, this is a great game. You can go and look for a copy, or just do what I did and buy it on GOG.com as I did. As always it goes without saying, I don't get any money from GOG.com and they don't even know I exist, I just love using them because they have great games cheap and legal without DRM (an annoying copy-protection scheme that just punishes the consumer for legally buying a game). Trust me, this game is awesome.
5 out of 5 stars.
