Film Friday: Thor
So, this is going up at the last minute Friday, but better late than never. I saw Thor, and have some thoughts to share, and have one thing to get out of the way first: Let's just say it, this movie isn't as good as Iron Man 2. There, happy? Don't discount it though, because it is still pretty darn good and definitely worth seeing. I won't give you break-down of the plot or anything because I figure you know all the details, I"ll just tell you why its worth seeing.
A Great Start--Moon Knight #1
I have been eagerly looking forward to this series since it was announced, building up my expectations to a level that could not possibly be achieved. Therefore, before reading this comic I made sure to tell myself to just expect something good. Needless to say, this comic did definitely deliver on a fun time.

Rant Reviews-War Of The Green Lanterns Part Four-Six AKA Here We Go Again With The Mocking
Here we go again, more Green Lantern comics, and more of me feeling like being an extra bit of a wise-ass toward them. This time its parts four through six of the War of the Green Lanterns spread out as always over three different series, with three different individuals writing it, because hey, why not muddy the waters even more?

Here we have two comics, one with a story that really underwhelmed me but which had some great art, and another with a bunch of stories, where two hit, and two miss--but of the two that hit one is just a page, so that's a problem. Yeah, I'm going to be a little tough on these...

Mini-Run Review: DC Universe Online Legends #3-6
This has been an interesting series so far. Tying into the video game for the PS3 and PC this bi-weekly series has been generally fun so far. Jumping between the present and future (or as would make more sense, past and present, but whatever) it has been about Lex Luthor and a rag-tag group of survivors trying to fight against the alien Brainiac who has taken over the world, while in the past/present...well, that part is the kind of dull segment.
