The Newest Rant Podcast Episode 2--Starting To Figure This Out.

My second-ever Podcast show--downloadable here--where I start to figure things out and develop a basic show format. First I discuss some of the latest news in comic-dom (which isn't necessarily tagged in labels due to getting just a brief mention) then say some extended reviews of comics I have discussed or am going to discuss on my blog, namely:

• Venom #1
• Incognito: Bad Influences #1
• Halcyon #4
• Tarot #67
• Black Panther #516

With a weird assortment like that you know I'm going to have a thing or two to say...

Oh, and for those who like when I talk about things besides comics, don't worry. I will do Podcasts where I talk about a book I read, movie I saw, or television show I watched sometime too in the future.

Rant-Reviews--All These Comics Are Relentlessly Dark In Tone.

In a good mood? Well lets drag it down with some comics that are quite depressing, Incognito #5,  Sweet Tooth #19, Punisher: In the Blood #5, and Caligula #1.

Pulpy Goodness--Incognito: Bad Influences #4

Incognito: Bad Influences #4
The newest issue in which our main character Zack Overkill works to be found by a terrorist organization by visiting old haunts, realizing how he's grown as a person morally, and tripping his balls off form the hallucinatory effect of another character's powers. Now that's interesting!

March 2nd 2011 Comic Haul.

Everything from my comic haul this week. It was bigger than I realized it would be.

Rant-Reviews--Just Four Great Comics.

Here at the Newest Rant sometimes I focus too much on the negatives of comics, or ones that aren't good. Therefore, this time let's just review four recent ones I really enjoyed. Click the cut for reviews of Incognito, T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents, Osborn, and a Venom-focused issue of Amazing Spider-Man.

Looking Over This Week's Comic-Book Haul

It's Friday, so let's review all of the comics I've bought/borrowed for the week two days after they actually came out--with reviews for a few of the titles possibly coming not too long after. Make a comment if you want me to review one especially soon (although there is some stuff that is a bit older I need to get my thoughts put up for too). After all, I do this blog for you, the reader...and so that I don't bore the people in my everyday life with my thoughts about stuff they have no interest in.

Rant-Reviews--Hulks, Various Mutants, Mindless Action, Noir, and a Green Lantern issue without an actual Green Lantern appearnce.

First week in a while where a bunch of the comics I'm reading came out, so let's review a batch. Feel free to just read the reviews that interest you as I am posting a bunch, with even more to come tomorrow.
