I had the chance to try the new Cherry-flavored Dr. Pepper Zero. I have tried some Dr. Pepper flavors lately and been pleased. I also have, at times, been disgusted. Hence, I did not know what I would think of the new Cherry Dr. Pepper Zero. I have had a drink from a bottle of it and...wow, that's good.
Seriously, I've always said Cherry Coke/Cherry Coke Zero is the only flavor that comes close to challenging the original Coke/Coke Zero. That statement holds true with Cherry Dr. Pepper Zero as well. It is really good. You taste the Dr. Pepper Zero, for sure, but you also get a nice addition of cherry flavoring that is not too overpowering or so weak as to go unnoticed. I loved this flavor and hope it is popular enough that it could become a permanent-ish addition to store shelves--it is that good!
